Experience the D&N Solicitors difference: Where You Come First
Our History
At Your Local Family Solicitors, we take pride in our team's extensive experience in family law. Our story begins with our founding members, Garfield Wallett and Joanne Vernon. Garfield's background is rooted in family-run businesses, which led him to study law at Staffordshire University. He qualified in 2009 after completing his Legal Practice Course with commendation.
Joanne, on the other hand, developed a keen interest in family law at a young age. She obtained a 2:1 (Hons) LLB Law Degree in 1997 and achieved a distinction in her Legal Practice Course in 1998. Joanne qualified in 2000 and has since practised solely in family law.
Throughout her career, Joanne has gained extensive experience in private law children disputes, financial applications, injunction proceedings, cohabitation disputes, and more. She is a member of Resolution and committed to resolving disputes in the least confrontational and most cost-effective way possible.
