Brion & Co Solicitors is a firm of solicitors with a rich history dating back to the 1980s. Founded by Chris Brion, the firm has been practising law for over 30 years, specialising in non-asylum immigration law with a client base primarily from the Far East. With a strong presence in Central London, the firm has developed a global and UK-wide client base in the following thirty years.
Our History
Chris Brion, the sole principal of the firm, founded Brion & Co Solicitors in the 1980s after completing his law degree. At the time, the firm's initial purpose was to assist people in their immigration to the United Kingdom from Hong Kong. The firm's success was instant, and Chris abandoned his plans for a commercial law career in the City of London.
Over the next thirty years, the firm has developed a strong reputation, growing its client base globally and throughout the UK. Today, the firm continues to offer a wide variety of legal services, catering to a diverse range of clients.
Our Services
Although we no longer take on new immigration applications due to the Home Office's lengthy processing times, we continue to offer services in areas that particularly interest Chris. These include litigation cases involving fraud, forgery, and tax evasion, as well as firearms licensing cases and appeals to the Crown Court. As a solicitor advocate with higher rights of audience in the civil courts, Chris has the expertise and experience to handle complex legal matters.
Fees
We offer a range of fee structures, including fixed fees and hourly rates. Our hourly rates range from 200 to 650 per hour, calculated in six-minute units, depending on the type of work. VAT at 20% will be added to all bills. Before commencing work, we will agree the basis of the charge in writing and require a deposit for our charge and any disbursements.
