With you all the way
Established by John Wadsworth in Nottingham's Fletcher Gate in 1824, our firm has built upon a heritage spanning more than 200 years. Our development has involved a series of mergers and acquisitions, during which we have operated under various names. In 2023, we joined forces with Bray & Bray, a Leicestershire practice, and expanded further in 2025 through our merger with Woolley, Beardsley & Bosworth of Loughborough. These developments have contributed to the business we are today, employing over 250 people and delivering legal services to both private clients and commercial organisations.
Across our eight East Midlands offices, we offer individuals assistance with conveyancing, wills and probate, family matters, employment issues, motoring cases, serious injuries and dispute resolution. For businesses, our expertise covers corporate legal services, licensing, insolvency, transport and commercial property. We take an active role in the areas where we work, raising funds for local charities and engaging with community groups. Our paper-lite working practices also demonstrate our commitment to environmental values. As an award-winning firm, we commenced our 200th anniversary celebrations in 2024, recognising this important milestone through a special commemorative gathering, community-focused projects and internal team activities. Our anniversary programme extended beyond that year, continuing through 2026.
