Our History

The firm known as John B Kevill & Son was founded by John Bertram Kevill in 1919 and initially traded from premises in High Street, Chorley. Subsequently continued by John's son, John Augustine Kevill, the firm, supported by partner John Gerald Brown, expanded its client base and emphasis to embrace all aspects of law. In the 1960's the firm moved to St. Thomas's Road when it shortened its name to Kevills. In 2010 the firm moved to their current premises at Park Road, Chorley.
